Terms & Conditions
These Terms govern your access to and use of the AMICHA platform. Please read them carefully. By using AMICHA, you agree to be bound by these Terms in full.
About AMICHA & Platform Role
AMICHA (“AMICHA,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) operates amicha.space, a digital discovery and catalogue platform that enables homeowners to explore, save, and enquire about interior design, materials, and furniture from independent design partners, architects, material suppliers, and furniture brands (collectively, “Partners”).
AMICHA is a technology marketplace — not a design studio, contractor, or service provider. We do not design spaces, supply materials, or deliver furniture. We are not a party to any agreement between a homeowner and a Partner. Any engagement, contract, payment, or dispute between a homeowner and a Partner is solely between those two parties. AMICHA bears no responsibility for the outcome of any such engagement.
By accessing or using the Platform in any capacity — as a visitor, registered homeowner, or Partner — you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.
Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Platform in any capacity
- You must have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts under applicable law
- Partners must be duly registered businesses, licensed professionals, or legally operating sole proprietors in India
- Use of the Platform is void where prohibited by applicable law
- By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements
AMICHA reserves the right to refuse access or terminate accounts if eligibility requirements are not met, without prior notice and without liability.
Accounts & Registration
- Homeowners register via phone OTP verification. Your mobile number is your account identifier
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
- You must not share your OTP or account access with any third party
- You must keep your contact information current and accurate
- Partners apply through the Partner registration process and are subject to AMICHA's approval at its sole discretion
- Partners must provide accurate business information, credentials, and portfolio content at all times
- Partners are responsible for the security of their login credentials
- AMICHA may require additional verification documents at any stage of the relationship
- A Partner account is personal to the registered business and may not be transferred or sold
AMICHA reserves the right to reject any Partner application or suspend any account at any time, at its sole discretion, without being required to provide reasons.
Partner Terms & Obligations
Partners are independent professionals or businesses. Nothing in these Terms creates an employment, agency, partnership, joint venture, or franchise relationship between AMICHA and any Partner. Partners have no authority to bind AMICHA in any contract or representation.
- Provide only accurate, truthful, and up-to-date information in listings and profiles
- Ensure all portfolio images are of work actually executed by the Partner or clearly attributed otherwise
- Hold all licences, registrations, and permits required by law to offer the services described
- Respond to homeowner enquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Not solicit homeowners to transact outside the platform in ways that circumvent AMICHA's interests
- Not list projects, products, or services that violate any applicable law or third-party rights
- Immediately notify AMICHA of any material change in business status, licence, or legal standing
- Not create multiple accounts or use the platform to manipulate discovery rankings
AMICHA makes no representation, guarantee, or warranty — express or implied — that listing on the Platform will generate any enquiries, leads, clients, revenue, or business outcomes for any Partner. Visibility, placement, and discovery are at AMICHA's discretion and may change at any time.
Homeowner Terms & Obligations
- Use the Platform only for personal, non-commercial interior design discovery and enquiry purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing with AMICHA
- Not harvest, scrape, or systematically extract Partner contact information or listings for any purpose other than personal use
- Not submit false, misleading, or bad-faith enquiries to Partners
- Acknowledge that any engagement with a Partner is a direct, independent transaction solely between you and that Partner
- Independently verify Partner credentials, licences, qualifications, and references before committing to any engagement or payment
- Not hold AMICHA responsible for the quality, timeline, cost, or outcome of any work performed by a Partner
Homeowners engage Partners entirely at their own risk. AMICHA is a discovery platform only. Always conduct your own due diligence before signing contracts or making payments to any Partner found through AMICHA.
Listing Standards & Review
All Partner listings are subject to AMICHA's review and approval before publication. AMICHA may, at its sole discretion and without prior notice:
- Reject, edit, or remove any listing that violates these Terms or AMICHA's content guidelines
- Require Partners to provide supporting documentation for any claim made in a listing
- Delist or suspend a Partner's entire catalogue pending investigation of a complaint
- Permanently remove listings that are found to be fraudulent, misleading, or in violation of any law
- Adjust listing metadata, tags, or categorisation to improve platform discovery quality
Approval of a listing by AMICHA does not constitute an endorsement of the Partner, their work quality, their claims, or their pricing. AMICHA takes no responsibility for the accuracy of approved listings.
Listings must not include content that is: defamatory, obscene, harassing, discriminatory, or otherwise unlawful; that infringes any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property right; or that is deceptive with respect to the Partner's identity, credentials, or work.
Prohibited Conduct
The following are strictly prohibited on the Platform:
- Impersonating any person, business, or entity, or misrepresenting your affiliation with any party
- Submitting content that contains viruses, malware, or any other harmful or disruptive code
- Using automated bots, scrapers, or crawlers to access the Platform or extract data
- Reverse-engineering, decompiling, or attempting to access the source code of the Platform
- Interfering with, disrupting, or overloading the Platform's servers or network infrastructure
- Using the Platform to send unsolicited commercial communications (spam)
- Attempting to gain unauthorised access to any account, system, or data on the Platform
- Posting fake reviews, testimonials, or manipulated ratings of any Partner
- Using the Platform for any unlawful purpose under applicable Indian law
- Circumventing any access controls, geo-restrictions, or security measures of the Platform
- Creating fake accounts, duplicate accounts, or using the Platform to manipulate search results
Violation of any of the above may result in immediate account suspension, permanent ban, and where appropriate, referral to law enforcement authorities.
Intellectual Property
The Platform, including its design, layout, code, branding, trade name, logo, typography, user interface, proprietary algorithms, and all other content created by AMICHA, is the exclusive property of AMICHA and is protected by Indian and international intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, or commercially exploit any part of the Platform without AMICHA's prior written consent.
Partners retain ownership of the content they submit. However, by submitting content to the Platform, Partners grant AMICHA a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, sublicensable, perpetual licence to use, display, reproduce, distribute, and create derivative works of that content for Platform operation and promotion. This licence survives termination of the Partner's account.
If you believe content on the Platform infringes your intellectual property rights, please notify us at legal@amicha.space with: (a) a description of the copyrighted work; (b) the URL where the infringing content appears; (c) your contact details; and (d) a declaration that the information is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act on their behalf.
Fees & Payments
AMICHA currently offers free access to homeowners and free Partner listing at its discretion. However:
- AMICHA reserves the right to introduce fees for any feature, service tier, or Partner subscription at any time with reasonable notice
- Any fees introduced will be communicated to affected users at least 14 days before they take effect
- AMICHA is not a payment processor for transactions between homeowners and Partners. All payments for design services, products, or materials are made directly between the homeowner and the Partner
- AMICHA bears no liability for any payment disputes, failed transactions, or fraud occurring between homeowners and Partners
- All fees quoted on the Platform by Partners are Partner-determined and subject to change without notice to AMICHA
AMICHA does not hold, escrow, transfer, or guarantee any funds between homeowners and Partners. Never transfer money to AMICHA for Partner services — all such payments go directly to the Partner.
No Guarantees of Service or Outcome
AMICHA makes no guarantee or warranty that:
- The Platform will be available at any particular time or for any particular duration
- Any Partner listed on the Platform is licensed, qualified, insured, or trustworthy
- Any listing accurately represents the Partner's portfolio, capabilities, pricing, or availability
- An enquiry sent to a Partner will receive a response
- A Partner will complete any project to a particular standard or on any agreed timeline
- The Platform is free of errors, bugs, security vulnerabilities, or interruptions
- Any information provided by a Partner on the Platform is current, complete, or accurate
AMICHA is a discovery platform. The responsibility for vetting, contracting with, and managing any Partner rests entirely with the homeowner.
Disclaimer of Warranties
THE PLATFORM AND ALL CONTENT, FEATURES, AND SERVICES THEREON ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND — EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY — INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.
AMICHA does not warrant that the Platform will meet your requirements; that results obtained from the Platform will be accurate or reliable; that any defects will be corrected; or that the Platform or its servers are free of viruses or other harmful components.
Any content downloaded or otherwise obtained through the use of the Platform is done at your own discretion and risk.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, AMICHA's total aggregate liability to any user arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Platform shall not exceed INR 1,000 (Indian Rupees One Thousand), or the amount actually paid by that user to AMICHA in the twelve months preceding the claim — whichever is lower.
In no event shall AMICHA, its directors, officers, employees, agents, partners, or licensors be liable — under any legal theory — for:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages
- Loss of profits, revenue, business opportunity, goodwill, data, or anticipated savings
- Damages arising from your reliance on any listing, Partner claim, or Platform content
- Any dispute, defect, delay, or failure in work performed by a Partner
- Any unauthorised access to or use of your account or personal data by third parties
- Any interruption, suspension, or termination of the Platform
- Any failure of a third-party service integrated with the Platform (including Firebase, WhatsApp, or payment gateways)
- Any conduct or content of any Partner or other third party on or accessed through the Platform
These limitations apply whether or not AMICHA has been advised of the possibility of such damages and notwithstanding any failure of essential purpose of any limited remedy.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AMICHA and its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, successors, and assigns from and against any and all losses, damages, liabilities, claims, demands, suits, judgements, fines, penalties, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to:
- Your access to or use of the Platform
- Any content you submit, post, or transmit through the Platform
- Your breach of any provision of these Terms
- Your violation of any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right
- Any misrepresentation made by you in connection with the Platform
- Any dispute or transaction between you and any other user, Partner, or third party
- Any claim that your content caused damage to a third party
AMICHA reserves the right, at your expense, to assume exclusive control of the defence of any claim for which you are required to indemnify AMICHA. You agree to cooperate fully with such defence. You must not settle any such claim without AMICHA's prior written consent.
Suspension & Termination
AMICHA may, at its sole discretion and without prior notice or liability, suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate your access to the Platform or any portion of it for any reason, including but not limited to:
- Breach of any provision of these Terms
- Conduct that AMICHA determines, in its sole judgement, to be harmful to the Platform, other users, or Partners
- Submission of fraudulent, misleading, or illegal content
- Receipt of complaints or legal notices related to your account
- Extended inactivity of a Partner account
- Business, legal, or regulatory requirements
- Upon termination, your right to access the Platform ceases immediately
- Listings associated with a terminated Partner account will be de-published
- Homeowner moodboard data will be deleted in accordance with the Privacy Policy
- Sections of these Terms that by their nature survive termination shall continue in effect, including Sections 08, 11, 12, 13, and 16
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting hello@amicha.space. AMICHA has no obligation to refund any fees paid prior to termination.
Force Majeure
AMICHA shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including:
- Acts of God, natural disasters, earthquakes, floods, storms, or pandemics
- Government actions, regulations, sanctions, or orders of any authority
- Internet or telecommunications infrastructure failures or outages
- Third-party platform failures, including Google Firebase, hosting, or CDN outages
- Cyber-attacks, distributed denial-of-service attacks, or ransomware incidents
- Power failures, civil disturbances, strikes, or labour disputes
- Any other event beyond AMICHA's reasonable control
In such events, AMICHA will use commercially reasonable efforts to restore service as soon as practicable and will communicate updates through the Platform.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms and any dispute arising from your use of the Platform shall be exclusively governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
- Step 1 — Informal Resolution: Before initiating formal proceedings, you must notify AMICHA in writing at legal@amicha.space, describing the dispute. AMICHA will have 30 days to attempt good-faith resolution
- Step 2 — Arbitration: If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (India). The seat shall be New Delhi; proceedings shall be in English; a sole arbitrator shall be mutually appointed
- Step 3 — Courts: For matters where arbitration is unavailable or where injunctive relief is sought, both parties submit exclusively to the courts of New Delhi, Delhi, India
You waive any right to a class-action lawsuit, class-wide arbitration, private attorney-general action, or any other representative proceeding. All disputes must be brought in your individual capacity only.
Changes to These Terms
AMICHA reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting on the Platform with an updated “Last Updated” date. For material changes affecting your rights, AMICHA will make reasonable efforts to notify registered users at least 7 days before the change takes effect.
Your continued use of the Platform after any change is posted constitutes your binding acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not accept the revised Terms, you must immediately stop using the Platform and request account deletion. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.
General Provisions
- Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other policies linked from the Platform, constitute the entire agreement between you and AMICHA with respect to the Platform and supersede all prior agreements
- Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions
- No Waiver: AMICHA's failure to exercise or enforce any right under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by an authorised representative of AMICHA
- Assignment: You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without AMICHA's prior written consent. AMICHA may freely assign these Terms, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
- Notices: AMICHA may provide notices to you via email, in-platform messages, or by posting on the Platform. Notices to AMICHA must be sent to legal@amicha.space
- Language: These Terms are drafted in English. In case of any conflict between an English version and a translation, the English version shall prevail
- Third-Party Beneficiaries: These Terms do not confer any rights on any third party

By accessing or using AMICHA in any capacity, you acknowledge that you have read these Terms in full, that you understand them, and that you agree to be legally bound by them. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Platform.
