Delete your account
If you'd like to close your AMICHA account and delete the data associated with it — from either the AMICHA mobile app or the amicha.space website — you can request that in one email. This page explains exactly what we do when a request comes in.
01How to request deletion
- Send an email from the phone number's associated email (or from any email that identifies your account) to hello@amicha.space with the subject line "Delete my AMICHA account".
- In the body of the email, include the phone number you used to sign up (with +91) so we can locate your account.
- Optionally: mention whether you want us to delete everything, or keep specific items (for example, a message thread you were mid-conversation on with a partner).
02What gets deleted
When we process your request, the following data associated with your account is permanently removed from AMICHA's systems:

| Phone number + name | Deleted from Firebase Authentication and from your users/{uid} record. |
| Moodboard entries | Deleted — saved renders, colours, and listing references removed. |
| AI Interior renders | Both the source photos you uploaded and the AI-generated versions are removed from AMICHA storage. |
| Chat messages you sent | Deleted from every chat thread you participated in. |
| Blocked-partners list & report submissions | Deleted with your account. Reports you filed remain visible to AMICHA moderators in an anonymised form for audit purposes only. |
03What we keep, and why
A small amount of data is retained for legal and safety reasons, only for as long as necessary:

| Aggregated analytics | Indefinite | Non-identifying page-view and feature-usage counts (Google Analytics 4). Contains no personal identifiers. |
| Financial records | 7 years | Statutory requirement under Indian tax law (applies only if you had a paid transaction with AMICHA; most homeowner accounts have none). |
04Partner accounts
If you're an AMICHA partner (interior designer, architect, material supplier, or furniture brand) with a partner dashboard account, please mention that in your email. Partner-account deletion also removes your published listings from the AMICHA catalogue after a 7-day soft-delete window (giving you a chance to reverse the request).
